DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Knowledge working with trees, shrubs, and plant placement (or willing to learn)
- Running Machines, Stump Grinder, Mini Skid, and Crane Truck.
- Installation of caliper trees and shrubs
- Leading a team to complete high-quality jobs on budget
- Working with clients to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Working with suppliers to procure high-quality materials
- Driving and maintaining a Shady Lane Expert Tree Care vehicle
- Leading our company training and development program for the staff on your team
Qualifications
Education:
Skills & Professional Training
- Minimum 1 year of landscape or tree and shrub planting
- Equipment operation experience: Stump Grinder, Skid steer, Excavator
- Class D or DZ driver’s license
- Clean driving record (no infractions within past 3 years)
- 0-8 Crane operator qualifications or willing to get certification
- Outgoing personality, able to connect with people effectively
- Supervisory experience in any field
- Ability to lead teams and motivate others
- Able to work some evenings and weekends if necessary
Compensation
$28.00 to $32.00/hour
Profit sharing, RRSP Matching, Extended Health Care, Company Events, Clothing/Equipment Allowance
