Job Description
Tree farm maintenance with emphasis and majority of work being large tree planting and softscaping at mostly residential locations in London and surrounding areas such as Strathroy, Kilworth, Komoka, Mt. Brydges, St. Thomas, Grand Bend, Lucan, etc.
Strong physicality component, and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Loading and unloading trees, plants, and aggregate materials.
Maintenance at the tree farm including pruning, weeding, irrigating, irrigation maintenance, mowing, etc.
Working within a small team, or independently.
Ability to meet job specification requirements.
Ability to communicate with clients and navigate client expectations.
Qualifications
Education:
Skills & Professional Training
Driver's License - G, Clean Driving Record, Primary access to a vehicle
Not required but an asset:
-Horticultural/arboricultural experience
-First aid training
-Experience with small machinery/tractor/truck and trailers
-Leadership roles experience
Compensation
$22 to $28/hour
