Your Role in Our Team As our Senior Lead Irrigation Specialist, you provide hands-on leadership to both installation and service teams. You oversee and perform the end‑to‑end installation of irrigation systems as well as the maintenance, repair, and optimization of existing systems. You provide clients with exceptional service while supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Installation Responsibilities: ● Lead and oversee installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems. ● Interpret site plans, blueprints, and job specifications. ● Supervise, mentor, and support installation crews. ● Ensure technical excellence including hydraulics, wiring, and controller setup. ● Perform quality control checks and troubleshooting. ● Coordinate materials, equipment, and job-site organization. Service Responsibilities: ● Lead and support service technicians. ● Oversee and assist with effective completion of system maintenance, repairs, start-ups, and shutdowns. ● Ensure technical quality through diagnostics and WSIP audits. ● Troubleshoot complex system issues and execute the solution / repairs effectively ● Foster strong client relationships. ● Identify opportunities to improve processes and training. ● Shared Responsibilities: ● Maintain safe work practices and ensure WSIB compliance. ● Perform daily checks on tools, machinery, vehicles, and proactively report maintenance needs. ● Serve as on-site technical and leadership contact. ● Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation. ● Work alongside in our winter snow and ice management operations. Key Results / Outcomes ● Projects and service activities are delivered promptly and aligned with high level performance benchmarks. ● Reliable, high-quality irrigation system performance for our clients. ● Strong crew efficiency, engagement and retention. ● Minimal installation/service errors and reduced callbacks. ● Zero accidents and safety incidents per season. ● Positive client impressions. Qualifications ● Field leadership & team support. ● Advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system layout. ● Service coordination and job-site organization. ● Effective communication, collaboration, and business relationship skills. ● Creative problem solving and efficient time management. ● Safety and compliance focus. Busy-Season Workload Expectations Due to seasonal business demands, workload increases significantly during peak periods. Additional hours are required and are balanced with off-peak adjustments.
