Your Role in Our Team As our Turf Maintenance Specialist, you help to create and maintain vibrant, healthy landscapes and turf environments. You apply technical expertise in integrated turf management practices to promote sustainable landscape. Through quality workmanship and attention to detail, you support team operations, uphold operational standards, and deliver results that enhance client properties, outdoor environments, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities ● Apply fertilizer and turf care treatments with accuracy and consistency to support healthy, resilient lawns and gardens. ● Monitor and manage pest pressures, using IPM principles to support environmentally responsible and effective decision-making. ● Execute turf and landscape improvement projects that enhance property quality and align with project specifications. ● Accurately complete and submit required paperwork and operational documentation on time to support project tracking and accountability’ ● Inspect and maintain tools, machinery, and work vehicles; report and address maintenance needs to ensure operational readiness. ● Complete work in accordance with WSIB standards and company safety policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. ● Communicate professionally with clients and team members to support clear expectations, positive service experiences, and effective collaboration. ● Participate in cross-training opportunities and support other departmental activities as needed to enhance team flexibility and operational success. Key Results / Outcomes ● Turf programs are effective, compliant, and environmentally responsible ● Lawns and gardens show measurable improvements in health and appearance ● Work completed safely and in compliance with industry requirements ● Positive customer interactions and professional service delivery ● Accurate and timely documentation of field activities ● Contribution to team collaboration and operational success ● Health and safety standards are maintained with proactive risk management Qualifications ● Horticulture, Turf Management, or IPM certification (or equivalent experience) ● 3–5 years of hands-on turf care and maintenance experience ● Valid pesticide applicator license ● Experience leading or coordinating field teams ● Valid Class “G” driver’s license ● Strong communication and problem-solving skills ● Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Busy-Season Workload Expectations Due to the seasonal nature of the business, workload and customer demand increase significantly during peak periods. Additional hours may be required to meet client expectations and ensure timely project delivery.
