Job Description
· Extensive landscape maintenance experience and deep knowledge of landscaping practices, including turf maintenance, hedge trimming, and pruning.
· An understanding of hardscape materials and their installation practices.
· Landscape construction installation experience, including installing walkways, patios, driveways, and retaining walls.
· Post secondary education in horticulture or equivalent is an asset.
· Superb communication skills and a passion for excellence.
· Proficiency operating a wide variety of motorized landscaping equipment.
· A minimum G license and comfortable driving large vehicles is an asset.
· Ability to work long hours from Monday to Friday; along with occasional weekend work.
· Ability to work year round by doing snow removal in the winter months
· Can meet the physical demands of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma,, Apprentice Level I/II,, College/Technical Training or Trades Certificate,
Skills & Professional Training
Driver's License - G, Skid Steer, First AID
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in landscape construction, focusing on hardscape installations.
• Proficient with Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, etc.
• Strong understanding of site plans, blueprints, and elevation drawings.
• Lead a crew of up to 3 team members under the Project Manager's guidance.
• Assign tasks, demonstrate techniques, and provide on-the-job training.
• Mentor newer crew members and promote learning and development.
• Foster a positive team culture based on respect, communication, and accountability
.
• Monitor jobsite productivity and communicate progress with managers.
• Professionally represent the company in appearance and behavior.
• Valid G-Class Driver’s License; trailer towing experience (Required)
• Comfortable using digital tools and construction equipment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Compensation
$28 to $34/hour
