Hardscape Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various landscaping and construction projects, contributing to the creation of outdoor spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience with construction or landscaping tools and techniques is preferred but not mandatory. The position offers opportunities for skill development across multiple trades, including interlock, retaining walls, natural stone, artificial turf and pools. Health plan after probation period. Responsibilities • Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheel borrows to complete landscaping tasks • Operation if construction machinery a plus • Use of power tools to construct structures, build forms etc. • Read drawings to understand project specifications and layouts • Support construction activities including excavation, base build, interlock installation, retaining wall and natural wall, pools, artificial turf. • Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation and material handling • Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Skills • Ability to read drawings • Proficiency with skid steers, walk behind, excavators, tools and power tools used in construction • Experience or familiarity with interlock, retaining walls, base build • Knowledge of construction project execution is a plus • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently • Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship • This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a diverse set of skills within the landscape construction industry.
