Job Title: Garden Maintenance Crew Leader $28-$35/hour Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: Full-Time / Seasonal ( Spring-Fall ) We are looking for an experienced Garden Maintenance Crew Leader to join our landscaping team in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone passionate about high-quality garden care, plant health, and leading a small team to maintain beautiful residential landscapes. Responsibilities: - Lead a small team responsible for garden maintenance. - Perform tasks such as pruning, planting, weeding, mulching, and seasonal care. - Maintain plant health and uphold garden quality standards. - Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets the company's quality expectations. - Train and mentor team members in proper horticultural techniques. - Communicate with clients and management about garden conditions & maintenance plans. - Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment. Requirements: - Over 2 years of experience in garden or landscape maintenance. - Strong horticultural knowledge of perennials, shrubs, and native plants (native plants are a plus). - Crew leadership experience is preferred. - Valid Class “G” driver’s license from the Province of Ontario with a clean driving record. - Experience supervising or leading a small crew. - Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team. - Skilled in pruning techniques and seasonal garden maintenance. - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
