Foreman – Landscape Construction

Scenic Stone Landscape & Design Inc. is hiring an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead high-end residential hardscape projects across Burlington, Oakville, and surrounding areas. This is a leadership role for a skilled tradesperson who can take full ownership of a job site and deliver quality work without supervision. Role Responsibilities: -Lead and manage a 3 to 5 person landscape construction crew -Oversee installation of patios, retaining walls, driveways, poolscapes, steps, and structural landscape features -Read and interpret plans, elevations, and layouts -Coordinate daily workflow, materials, and equipment -Maintain production pace and meet project timelines -Enforce safety standards and quality control -Train and mentor Lead Hands and crew members -Report job progress to management You are accountable for site performance, workmanship, efficiency, and team leadership. Minimum Qualifications: -5+ years hands-on hardscape or landscape construction experience -2+ years proven crew leadership experience -Strong masonry experience -Structural carpentry experience -Experience operating skid steer and compact equipment -Advanced knowledge of paver systems, retaining wall construction, grading, and base preparation -Ability to build from plans without supervision -Valid driver’s license -CSA-approved safety boots -Minimum of 2 professional references Strong Assets: -Advanced layout and elevation control, including independent site layout and grade management -Experience with complex structural or multi-tier builds -Proven production management on high-end residential projects -Demonstrated safety leadership and job site compliance experience -Professional, confident client-facing communication skills
