Main Purpose of Job:
Our crews help to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for our commercial and residential clients

Requirements:
Experience and training in landscape maintenance, enhancements, or gardening
Some horticulture training is preferred
Ability to both take and give direction in a team environment
Must enjoy working outdoors
Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work
Be physically strong (lift min. 50 lbs) and a quick learner
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Core Values of Wild Ridge Landscapes: Relationships, Integrity, Leadership, Professionalism, and Creativity
Execute landscape enhancements project installations such as planting, pruning, mulching, amending soil, grading, and sodding, as instructed by crew leads and managers
Install trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and commercial planting (large scale)
Remove weeds and plant material in small and large scale garden renovations
Read and interpret landscape designs and plans to ensure work is completed to specification
Drive a truck with trailer, and operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with spring clean-ups, and leaf, litter and debris clean-up in fall
Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized throughout project duration.
Communicate effectively with clients on-site when needed and address questions professionally
Responsibility includes supervision of other crew members and delegating tasks to ensure timely project completion
Use Wild Ridge software for tracking hours and completing health and safety forms etc.
Grass cutting with riding and push mowers and trimmers
Leaf, litter, and debris cleanup required in spring and fall
Other tasks such as topdressing/overseeding/sodding etc.
Working Conditions:
In early spring and late fall maintenance crew members may be asked to work in cold weather temperatures where they need to dress warmly.
In mid summer maintenance crew members may be asked to work in hot weather temperatures and need to drink plenty of fluids, be responsible about sunscreen use, wear hats and ensure they take appropriate breaks.
In all seasons, crew members need to be prepared to be asked to work in rainy conditions and to bring appropriate gear such as rain jackets.
Crews can expect to occasionally be exposed to chemicals such as gasoline and lubricants.

Crew members can expect to be asked to lift up to 50 lbs.
Motion Parameters
Crew members can expect to be on their feet for long periods of time. The job requires walking, squatting and kneeling.
