Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading a team, and is looking to build a career in the landscaping industry. This role includes year-round employment, with participation in winter maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis - Perform lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging) for commercial properties - Oversee garden bed installation and maintenance, including trees, shrubs, and flowers - Install mulch, soil, sod, and related materials - Complete seasonal property cleanups (spring and fall) - Safely operate trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment - Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and completed to a high standard - Train and guide crew members to improve performance and efficiency - Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols - Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and operating equipment safely - Participate in winter operations including snow removal and site maintenance Requirements - Valid full G driver’s licence (mandatory) - Proven ability to lead and supervise a crew - Experience driving trucks with trailers and maneuvering in tight spaces - Strong hands-on experience with landscaping equipment (including zero-turn mowers) - Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and minor repairs - Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Ability to lift 30–40 kg+ What We’re Looking For - A motivated individual seeking long-term growth within a company - Someone who takes ownership of their work and leads by example - A dependable, punctual professional with a positive attitude - Ability to work independently while also contributing to a strong team environment - Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every job
