Job Description
As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the care and upkeep of residential landscapes across Toronto. This includes performing landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mowing, trimming, pruning, leaf collection, and site cleanup. You will work with hand tools and power equipment, ensuring each property is maintained to the highest standards. Crews typically service 6–10 properties per day.
Prepare and maintain landscape maintenance sites, ensuring safety and cleanliness
Manage traffic around work zones when necessary
Load, unload, and organize tools and equipment on crew vehicles
Install, fertilize, and water plant material
Operate leaf blowers, trimmers, mowers and other landscaping equipment
Drive crew truck between job sites and company yard
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Receive on-the-job training and guidance for all tasks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma,
- Driver's License - G
- Clean Driving Record
- GROW New Worker Training
- First AID
- CPR
Attention to Detail: Thorough and precise in task execution
Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and committed to team success
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous landscape maintenance experience is an asset
Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license is an asset
