Hardscape Foreman - Landscape Construction

Requirements

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role

-Strong knowledge of hard and soft landscaping

-Proven ability to manage projects from planning to completion

-Experience operating skid steer, excavator, backhoe, and loader

-Ability to read civil, architectural, and landscape drawings

-Valid Class G license with driver’s abstract and reliable transportation

-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

-Landscape diploma/certificate considered an asset

Responsibilities

-Supervise, train, and lead a crew of 3+ staff and operators

-Coordinate all aspects of job sites, including materials, equipment, and subcontractors

-Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to Canadian Landscape Standards

-Maintain daily electronic logs, time sheets, and project records

-Perform and oversee landscape construction and maintenance tasks as needed

-Operate equipment safely and conduct pre-use inspections

-Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures
