About Us

We are a residential landscaping company based in Etobicoke. Our 10-person field team serves residential properties throughout Etobicoke and surrounding neighbourhoods. Over the past 20 years, we have built a strong reputation for quality work, exceptional service, and long-term relationships with both customers and employees.

We provide a range of services, including property maintenance, softscape installations, select hardscape projects, and snow removal. We take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work with a focus on craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and team culture.

Our goal is to become Ontario's leading residential landscaping company, and we are looking for someone to help us achieve it.

Position Overview

The Landscaping Manager plays a key leadership role within the organization. This position is responsible for leading our maintenance and softscape installation crews, ensuring excellent service delivery, and supporting business growth through estimating and client relationship management.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing business. The role is supported by the two Owners and a small management group.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Crew Oversight

• Plan and supervise daily operations for multiple crews.

• Lead morning dispatches and end-of-day debriefs.

• Conduct job site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Oversee vehicle, equipment, and material logistics.

• Track project performance and productivity.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and mentor crew leaders and team members.

• Foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and pride in workmanship.

• Provide regular coaching and performance feedback.

• Support seasonal hiring and training.

Client Relations

• Serve as the primary operational contact for key clients.

• Conduct property walkthroughs and discuss service plans.

• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

Estimating & Sales

• Prepare estimates for maintenance contracts, planting projects, and softscape enhancements.

• Collaborate with ownership on proposals, pricing, and service offerings.

• Identify and pursue new client and enhancement opportunities.

• Support the coordination of hardscape construction projects when required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential landscaping experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong knowledge of horticulture, planting, and property maintenance practices.

• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage multiple client properties.

• Experience estimating and managing small enhancement projects.

• Familiarity with hardscape installation (pavers, walls, grading, etc.) is an asset.

• Experience with Jobber is an asset.

• Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
