Job Description
At Lindsay Landscape, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grass Crew Member to join our team. This role focuses on grass cutting, lawn maintenance, and general landscaping support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating landscaping equipment, and maintaining properties to a high standard.
Perform grass cutting and trimming on residential and commercial properties
Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely
Complete edging, clean-up, and debris removal after mowing
Support lawn care tasks such as aeration, dethatching, fertilization, and irrigation support
Assist with sod installation and basic landscaping work when required
Maintain equipment and report any mechanical or safety issues
Follow crew leader instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Maintain clean, professional, and safe job sites
Work outdoors in different weather conditions
Support gardening or landscaping crews when needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma,
- Driver's License - G2
- Driver's License - G
Minimum 2 years of experience in grass cutting, lawn maintenance, or landscaping
Valid G-Class Driver’s License
Comfortable working on grass cutting, landscaping, and sod crews
Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
Compensation
Winter operations positions have typically been compensated at a higher hourly rate than summer positions.
