Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager & Growth Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while proactively identifying opportunities for growth across landscape maintenance, snow services, and landscape enhancements.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and maintain regular communication to ensure service quality and client satisfaction. This role combines account management with business development, focusing on long-term partnerships and expanding services within both new and existing accounts.

During the winter season, you will also support snow operations coordination, working alongside the Operations Manager to help ensure timely communication and service delivery during snow events.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, builds strong client relationships, and is motivated by growth, performance, and long-term account success.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Experience

• Manage assigned client portfolio and serve as primary point of contact

• Conduct site visits to ensure service quality and scope alignment

• Build strong client relationships and address issues proactively

• Lead contract renewals for maintenance and snow services

• Support client retention and long-term partnership development

Business Development & Growth

• Develop and manage an active sales pipeline

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities

• Drive growth through cross-selling, enhancements, and new clients

• Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, and follow up consistently

Service & Operational Alignment

• Coordinate with operations to ensure service delivery meets expectations

• Communicate client needs, priorities, and updates clearly

• Identify opportunities to expand scope within existing accounts

• Maintain responsiveness during both summer and winter seasons

Winter Operations Support

• Assist with snow operations coordination during storm events

• Support communication between operations and clients

• Help ensure efficient service routing and execution

• Maintain responsiveness during winter service periods

Portfolio & Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate CRM records and track opportunities

• Manage multiple accounts and prioritize workload effectively

What Success Looks Like (Performance Expectations)

• Approximately $1,000,000 in annual new business revenue

• Strong client retention and account growth

• Consistent pipeline activity and follow-ups

• Expansion of services within existing accounts

• Accurate CRM tracking and opportunity management

• Proactive communication with clients and operations

Required Skills & Competencies

• 3–5+ years of sales, account management, or related experience

• Experience in landscape, property services, or construction preferred

• Proven ability to generate new business and grow accounts

• Strong client relationship and communication skills

• Experience managing a sales pipeline and follow-ups

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)

• LMN or similar software experience is an asset

• Strong understanding of AI tools and ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and workflows

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites

Working Conditions & Role Expectations:

• Combination of field visits and office work

• Travel within service area required

• 44-hour work week, typically Monday to Friday

• Some early morning, evening, or weekend availability during winter events
