Summary

We are seeking a dedicated AZ/DZ Truck Driver to join our team at Islington Nurseries Ltd. in Toronto. This role is vital in supporting our landscape and construction projects by ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment, contributing to our mission of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Operate AZ/DZ trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials and equipment to various job sites.

Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule while adhering to safety regulations.

Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on trucks.

Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

Follow all company policies and procedures to uphold safety standards.

Requirements:

Clean Drivers Abstract and CVOR must be submitted with all applications

Must be able to drive standard and automatic

Experience delivering aggregates and construction materials

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within construction or landscaping industries.

Strong understanding of safety protocols related to transportation.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks.

Knowledge of the GTA area for efficient routing.
