This is a fulltime year round position - Immediate hire.

Our Fleet consists of Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Skid Steers, and Gravel Trucks, Trailers and Crew Trucks.

Must be RED SEAL certified and legal to work in Canada.

Up to $1,500.00 Signing bonus, Monthly tool allowance, Benefits after 30 days.

Key Responsibilities:

Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers' repair manuals for work procedures.

Operate a hoist and lift device to position machinery parts in a safe manner.

Complete CVIP Inspections and examine vehicles and equipment.

Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and equipment.

Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer connection/diagnosis with a machine to identify fault codes.

Provides guidance and instruction to less experienced, or apprentice maintenance personnel.

Performing hands-on maintenance and repairs of all equipment.

Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubles.

Making repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Suggest positive changes to policy and procedures as required.

Initiative, diligence, and reliability.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Other Duties as required:

Knowledge of component R&R and electrical systems.

Repairs a fleet of Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Skid Steers, and Gravel Trucks, Trailers and Crew Trucks.

Work is generally on heavy equipment, however, repairs to a fleet of class 7-8 tractors, gravel trucks, and water trucks may be required.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum class 5 (non-GDL) driver's license. Class 1 or 3 drivers license considered an asset.

Clean driver’s abstract, must be approved by ABL's Insurance carrier.

Excellent mechanical knowledge.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ability to work as a team player.

Physically fit, heavy lifting required.
