Job Title: Garden Maintenance Crew Leader $28-$35/hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Full-Time / Seasonal ( Spring-Fall )

We are looking for an experienced Garden Maintenance Crew Leader to join our landscaping team in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone passionate about high-quality garden care, plant health, and leading a small team to maintain beautiful residential landscapes.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a small garden maintenance crew

* Perform pruning, planting, weeding, mulching, and seasonal garden care

* Maintain plant health and garden quality standards

* Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets company quality expectations

* Train and mentor crew members in proper horticultural technique.

* Communicate with clients and management regarding garden conditions and maintenance plans

* Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in garden or landscape maintenance

* Strong horticultural knowledge of perennials, shrubs and (native plants are a plus)

* Crew leadership experience preferred

* A valid Class “G” driver’s license from the Province of Ontario with a clean driving record

* Experience supervising or leading a small crew.

* Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team

* Skilled in pruning techniques and seasonal garden maintenance

* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

* Diploma or certification in Horticulture or Landscape Technician

* Experience with high-end residential gardens

* Knowledge of ecological or sustainable gardening practices

* Experience with garden design implementation and plant installation
