ABOUT US:

Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd. is a growing landscape and snow management company serving the Bay of Quinte region. We’re looking for experienced heavy equipment operators to join our winter snow removal team.

THE ROLE:

We’re hiring an experienced Loader Operator for winter snow removal and de-icing services. You’ll operate a front-end loader to manage snow plowing, clearing, and ice management across our client properties. This is hands-on work that requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work in challenging winter conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Operate front-end loaders for snow plowing and removal

– Perform de-icing and salting operations

– Maintain equipment in safe, working condition

– Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

– Work efficiently in winter weather conditions

– Communicate with supervisors and crew members

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

REQUIRED:

– 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (loaders essential)

– Proven snow removal/winter maintenance experience

– Valid driver’s license (G class minimum; DZ preferred)

– Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment

– Commitment to safety and efficiency

– Ability to work long hours during snow events

PREFERED:

– Commercial driving experience with heavy trucks

– Construction site experience

– Experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment
