Job Description
Clover Property Care is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Crew Lead and Driver to lead a two-person residential maintenance crew throughout Etobicoke and nearby areas.
This is a permanent position with seasonal fluctuations. Hours are generally 35 to 40 hours per week during the main season, with additional hours potentially available during busy spring and fall periods. Winter work consists mainly of on-call snow removal.
Compensation:
$27 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
Responsibilities:
* Drive a company cargo van and safely tow, reverse and park a trailer
* Lead and work alongside a property-maintenance helper
* Organize daily routes and keep jobs running on schedule
* Complete lawn maintenance, yard cleanups, gardening, hedge trimming, soil and mulch installation, gutter cleaning and other exterior property-care work
* Operate and care for commercial landscaping equipment
* Inspect completed work and maintain Clover Property Care’s quality standards
* Take before-and-after photographs and complete daily job notes
* Communicate professionally with customers
* Load, secure and maintain tools and equipment
* Follow proper safety procedures
* Assist with on-call residential snow removal during winter
Qualifications:
* At least three years of professional landscaping or property-maintenance experience
* Previous crew-leading or supervisory experience
* Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean driving record
* Confident driving a cargo van and towing a trailer in Toronto
* Willing to provide a current driver’s abstract and receive approval from the company’s vehicle insurer
* Experience using commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers and other landscaping equipment
* Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills
* Dependable, punctual and able to work without constant supervision
* Able to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
* Reliable transportation to the work vehicle or first scheduled property
* Available for occasional weekend work and winter snow-removal call-outs

Compensation
