Sipkens Nurseries is hiring an experiences OFFICE SALES ASSISTANT for Spring 2019!
* This is a part-time, seasonal position that runs from April to June with potential for more hours if candidate is interested in applying for the Retail Sales position as well*
With an anticipated late April start date, we are looking for a team member who:
-is friendly, polite and eager to learn
-has excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills
-assists customers throughout their entire experience with a sunny disposition
-has excellent time management and attention to detail skills
-is comfortable using office technologies, such as photocopiers, voice mail systems and personal computers
-assists managerial staff in any other endeavors they require
Office administration diploma considered an asset
Sales experience preferred
Plant knowledge and terminology considered an asset
A positive attitude with impeccable interpersonal and organizational skills

As a retail garden centre we require availability of weekends and some holidays during the busy seasons.
Working Conditions: The majority of work will be in the office. You must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and be capable of sitting for extended periods of time and viewing a computer screen.
