Start date for early Spring
Step into a challenging, and rewarding career as a finish Grade operator. Enjoy benefits, lots of hours to work and supportive teammates that are eager for you to succeed.
We are a sod farm located in the County about 15 minutes south of the bay bridge. We boast a fun, welcoming work environment and incredible team of people for you to call coworkers. We take care of our staff by offering good wages, benefits, and a monthly bonus program. Winter employment in snow removal is available.
The Company: We are making our area (literally) greener every day. Willowlee is a green certified, water saving, problem solving machine. We offer customers products and solutions to make their lawns as great as they can be because green space is so important. We could talk about it for days, but we’ll focus on the job…
We have about 25 staff involved in a number of areas including the install crew, grading teams, hydroseeding, and farm operations. We believe in great people accomplishing great things.
The Position: This is more than an operating job. We need someone who can:
You will be responsible for preparing jobsites so they are ready for sod or hydroseed. This requires an “eye” for seeing high and low spots and a strong desire to make the soil perfectly flat.
We offer $19-22/hour based on experience with room for raises and promotions based on skills and work ethic. Typically, you’ll work about 45-50 hours a week. We are aiming to have a start date of May 3. It could be earlier or later depending on weather. We will work until the ground freezes, normally around November and sometimes later in the year if possible. Winter employment in snow removal is offered.
